OCR: Arctic terns perform one of the long- est migrations of any bird. Those nesting in the park during the sum- mer, migrate to the Antarctic waters of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, and occasionally to the shores of Ant- arctica itself, during Alaskan winters. Arctic terns have long, pointed wings, a forked tail, black cap, and bright red bill and feet. They nest in the marshy edges of lakes and ponds, and have been found along the southern shore of Wonder Lake.
